Over its 140 years, Park Street Primary School has provided a wonderful education for generations of local children. To celebrate this anniversary we aim to raise £140,000 over the coming years to make a huge improvement to the building and the facilities at the school. Along the way, reaching smaller milestones will enable us to make an immediate impact:

Milestone 1 - Achieved! - New smart boards installed throughout school - Aug 2017

Milestone 2 - £20,000 - The laptops used by the children in school are very important to their learning but are now quite old and in need of replacement.

Milestone 3 - £30,000 - Reaching this milestone will enable us to redecorate and replace carpets in all the classrooms, which will greatly improve the learning environment.

"Park Street School was a great little school when my daughters went there, and I can tell it still is a great little school by the noise the Park Street kids make when they are playing in the park. Their laughter is enough to tell me that they're still running to school every morning.

Park Street School is the life centre of the district and well worth the cost of making it spick and span."
