Story

The Big Fight UK's ninth season is set to be it's biggest and most challenging white collar boxing event! Bringing amateur boxers together to train for ten weeks, fighters will be put against equally matched opponents to challenge themselves and raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Research Centre!

The aim of the Big Fight UK is to help you build confidence, increase your stamina, and challenge yourself, and help to fight against prostate cancer by funding PCRC's research. Training with Jon Durrant, fighters will get into the best shape of their lives.

Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men. Over 11,000 men die every year in the UK and the number increases every year. Advanced prostate cancer is treated with hormone therapy, developed in the 1940s. Hormone therapy is still the primary and most effective treatment for advanced prostate cancer. Consequently, survival rates have improved little over the last 70 years. New and more effective therapy is urgently needed. We are dedicated to improving the survival of the next generation of men and better treatment can only come through research.
