Story
Trevor Owen; Chorister of Westminster Abbey; Choral Scholar of King’s Cambridge; Lay Clerk of Worcester Cathedral for 15 years; Deputy Lay Clerk of Chichester Cathedral and Lay Clerk of Portsmouth for 25 years. Trevor must have sung in excess of 8,000 Evensongs!
All are welcome to contribute to this lasting legacy.
Choral Evensong is sung at Portsmouth Cathedral Sunday to Tuesday, Thursday and Friday every week during term time, on alternate Saturdays by the Cathedral's Choirs and on occasional Wednesdays by visiting choirs. BBC Radio 3 Choral Evensong is regularly broadcast from the Cathedral with the next occasion being on Wednesday 13th June.
In addition to singing at the Cathedral our choirs are part of the outreach of the Cathedral visiting schools and churches across the Diocese of Portsmouth.
They tour regularly and have sung at major events both nationally and internationally.
