The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is a world leader in education, training, assessment and support for healthcare professionals. Our Hope Foundation supports medical training in Malawi to enhance skills and improve healthcare. Together, we're a force for good.

Story

Our College has a long history of supporting medical education and training in Malawi. In the next year, we plan to strengthen these links.

Working in partnership with health professionals in Malawi, we have identified clinical training needs and we will now work together to meet these by delivering College courses in Malawi.  We are also providing bursaries to young Malawian doctors coming to Scotland for short periods of clinical training.

To raise funds to support this work members of College, including the President and Vice Presidents, plan to complete the "Five Ferry Challenge" on Saturday 3rd September. This challenge will see them push themselves to the limit as they cycle 51 miles around the Firth of Clyde. More details about the challenge are available at http://rcp.sg/5ferry4malawi

Your donations will go towards supporting the development of much needed medical education and training in Malawi and are very much appreciated.
