The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileJoin us in building a purpose built school for orphans and children living in poverty. A school in loving memory of Hamza Iqbal, Hamza Gujjar and Munib Karim, who sadly lost their lives recently in a fatal car crash.
We've launched this appeal on behalf of the families as Sadaqa Jahriya for our three beloved brothers.
The school that we want to build in their names is one of those that was destroyed in the Kashmir Earhquake in 2005. Since then the children there have been learning in tents and makeshift structures that provide a poor learning environment with little shelter from the elements.
READ Foundation has been creating new school places for children in poverty since 1994, and today runs 344 schools in which 92,000 children are being educated. Almost 10% of these children are orphans. That's 8,500 orphans now going to school who otherwise wouldn't have been able to.
Your support helps more orphans into school. Please give generously!
May Allah alleviate their status in Jannah, Amin.
