Story
More than a third of Bangladesh has been submerged by flooding, which is thought to be the most severe in more than a decade. Red Cross volunteers on the ground are working tirelessly to provide vital aid but there is so much more to do. Families desperately need clean water, food and shelter. There is a growing danger of life-threatening diseases such as cholera and malaria. Please donate today.
The South Asia Floods Appeal will cover countries currently affected and those potentially affected in the future. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world.
