Story
100 years ago, women fought against inequality and won the right to vote. 100 years on, we’re still fighting for equality. For far too many, inequality and violence against women are two sides of the same coin.
Around 100 women are killed every year by a current or ex-partner in England and Wales alone. If you’re as outraged as us by this, in the lead up to International Women’s Day, take part in #Refuge100 and raise £100 of life-saving funds for women fleeing abuse. You can either raise your £100 over the month period or join others on International Women’s Day, 8 March, for a collective day of fundraising.
