Every week we collect hundreds of kilos of waste food from our partners, Morrison's, Greggs, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Waitrose, Nando's, His Church and others.

All of this food would otherwise have gone to landfill.

At the same time many families and individuals in our area are going hungry.

The Bedford Community Larder solves both problems. We collect, sort, display and distribute the food to people in need from a central location - The ReUse Centre at 1a Gadsby Street, Bedford, MK40 3HP. 

Our running costs include fuel, electricity, rent, rates, uniforms, safety shoes, training and support for our volunteer workforce etc. etc. Anything that you can give to enable us to keep the project going is very much appreciated.
