Story
Hi, I’m Zoltán and on the 27th May I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon for Rhythms of Life! I have previously volunteered with them in 2011 and 2012. I am currently studying environmental science at university.
I am a keen runner, having run 7 marathons and 10 half-marathons. I have even completed races longer than a marathon – the longest was a 4-day 196km race around lake Balaton in Hungary.
I have chosen to fundraise for Rhythms of Life because they are a fantastic charity that provides essential support to the homeless community in central London by distributing food, clothing and toiletries as well as running educational classes. The charity has been running for 10 years and, to date, has served over 500,000 meals to some of the capital’s most vulnerable residents. Staffed entirely by volunteers, Rhythms of Life is able to give all funds directly to its many projects. Please take a look at their website for more information: http://www.rhythmsoflife.org.uk/
