Having experienced the distressing scenes of refugees arriving on the shores of the Greek islands, who are subsequently not able to travel further due to border closures and are left totally reliant on charity for clothing and food, we have built a team of volunteers who are working with local, national and international voluntary organisations to safely and swiftly provide life saving aid for those who have lost everything and now have little to call their own.

Story

Maria - one of the leading ladies of The Ripple Effect - is driving this lorry in convoy with another charity.

It will be loaded with all the Ripple Effect aid that has been recently donated and will call at Athens, Lesvos and finally Chios to ensure as many benefit from the generosity shown by so many.

We appreciate all donations which can be generously given- from money to goods.

We understand that giving your time to find the goods and drop them off/get them picked up can not always be suitable.

“We are very grateful for the continued support we receive throughout the year. Donations and any fund raising are vital if we are to continue to make a difference to the lives of those living in appalling conditions.”
