Story
Aaron Hunter is the Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the year Award winner at the Pride of Britain Awards 2019.
"AaronMan" is on a mission to help Find A Cure for "His Special Friends" who like him have been diagnosed with an extremely rare and complex disease called ROHHAD syndrome, their prognosis is terminal and Aaron needs YOUR help to change this and he has a fun way of doing so!
He would love to see you complete his "Muddy Puddle" #GoMadJumpForROHHAD challenge and make a donation via this page that will go towards ROHHAD Medical Research.
Robert Downey Jnr answered Aaron's call for help and completed the muddy puddle challenge after he seen his viral video message #AaronNeedsIronMan.
Robert himself said "As I got to know him more, i just got caught up in the spirit of his desire to help others like himself who have this extremely debilitating disease"
Robert was not alone as thousands of others have helped and took part in the muddy puddle challenge. Together with everyone who participated and donated they raised £150k for ROHHAD Research.
At the charity office Aaron has also been our Ideas Man, and has inspired many other fundraising activities, resulting in a further £160k to be raised meaning £310k has been raised to date.
With a staggering amount raised why is it that AaronMan still needs your help?
ROHHAD Medical Research is in its infancy. We still do not know the cause of this disease. To help improve treatments, create clear care pathways and one day find a cure we must first find the cause.
The funds raised so far have been allocated to 3 Medical Research Teams globally, however to complete the research and find the cause of the disease, we need to raise a further £300,000.00 before the end of 2020.
We hope you can help.
MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has donated #WeLoveYou3000 from AaronMan and all of us at the ROHHAD Association Charity
