We brighten the lives of seriously ill young people by granting wishes and providing ongoing support. Our wishes are as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a fireman, meet a real-life mermaid or even the Loch Ness Monster, we work hard to make that wish come true.

Story

The 21st June is the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year. We want to make the brightest day even brighter for seriously ill children.

So this year (and every year from now on) Rays of Sunshine is on a mission to turn as many wishes into reality on the longest day of the year.   The clock will begin ticking at sunrise (04:43am) and stop at sunset (21:21pm) - meaning there will be a window of 16 hours 38 minutes and 19 seconds to make as many wishes come true as possible.
