Stitch had been callously abandoned on her own, cold and in pain in a shoe box. Following an assessment we discovered she has a complex injury to her leg that will require substantial treatment.  She is being referred to a specialist vet and orthopedic specialists in Bristol then will require an operation. Following the treatment she  will need an external frame and stay at the vets  for some time as the frame will need adjusting as she grows.  We anticipate the costs could be up to £5k depending on the full result of the assessment. We will of course keep you updated. Should we raise more than we need for Stitch's treatment, it will used for veterinary care of other animals in need.
