Story

Little Peg and Pip, the Mum and 6 week old puppy Chihuahua's abandoned by the busy A127 in Essex.

They're safe in our care now and settling into their foster home. Peg, the mum, has no hind left paw and this will need surgical attention.

Tiny 6 week old puppy Pip, is also still under veterinary care. She has 'water on the brain' and has little, if any vision. Her blink reflex is not there and she has to have artificial tears 6 times a day currently. However she has improved a little over the last few days.

Peg will be referred for specialist treatment, possibly as a candidate for a prosthetic leg/paw at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
