Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Story

RSPCA Inspectors are helping our undercover unit to track down these traders and traffickers using specialised, high-tech, covert equipment to collect evidence of their cruel trade and to end the suffering of so many dogs and their pups. We need the following:

£1,650 - Cover radio kit - we need 13

£486 - Covert radio earpiece - we need 13

£1,296 - Covert vehicle loop controller - we need 13

£3,360 - Dummy child seat video surveillance camera - we need 1

£270 - Multiple DVD copier/burner for copying evidence - we need 2

£166 - Video camera and accessories - we need 12

£100 - Faraday bags - we need 12

£268 - High level training for Canine Focus officers - we need 19

Should we raise surplus or insufficient funds for one piece of equipment we will use them to fund the cost of other equipment or the wider work of our specialist teams to combat the illegal puppy trade.
