Children under 3 have been the most affected by the siege and war in East Ghouta. More and more are dying out of malnutrition and many suffer from permanent injuries. It is reported that child malnutrition in besieged Eastern Ghouta is at 'highest rate ever recorded' since the Syria war.
Our Ray of Hope project targets ill and injured children and will provide hope for those struggling to survive. Each baby pack includes essential items such as a thermometer, blanket, shampoo bottle, woollen tights, socks, powder and cream, woollen cap, woolen pyjamas and 25 diapers.
“Ghouta is drowning in blood,” said a doctor in Arbeen, one of the towns in the region in which 100 people were wounded and at least 14 killed, including a rescue worker and several children.
A journalist said the following about the current situation: “There is no safe place in Ghouta. You can describe it with this saying we have: “On top of death, the graves are too small.”
Please donate generously and provide a ray of hope to the children of Ghouta.
