Safe New Futures was started 25 years ago to address unemployment issues the most deprived areas of Southampton. When it was clear that low self-esteem and confidence was holding individuals back, a self-development programme was written with the help of experts at the University of Southampton.

Story

My name is Lisa Bonter and the Choices course was a vital factor in my journey of discovering self-worth and changing my life. I am undertaking the 25km Trek across the London Bridges to raise money so that other people can attend this course and improve their wellbeing, overcome anxiety, depression and barriers to gaining employment and/or leading a fulfilling life.

I volunteer as a facilitator on the Choices courses running in my home town of Eastleigh and am so happy to see the way people turn their lives around after coming on our courses.

As people discover their self-worth, their whole life improves. Please support this very worthwhile charity and sponsor my trek on Saturday 10th September 2016.
