Run entirely by volunteers, the charity exists to provide a relaxing getaway for people with special needs of all ages from the very youngest to senior citizens living in care, in nursing homes or in the community. Our canal boats have been specifically modified to enable wheelchair access and to provide for the unique needs of our passengers. Funding the growing demand for Seagull Trust Cruises relies upon the generosity of donors and sponsors, their kind support ensures that each year the charity has been able to carry increasing passenger numbers, providing them with a memorable experience amongst some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery, together with the tranquility that is unique to canal cruising.

Story

Everybody loves their teddy.

We have teddies available for adoption from The Seagull Trust in The Howgate Shopping Centre. These teddies are quite mischievous and getting up to all sorts of tricks- like climbing all over the card racks and artworks!

TEDDY BEAR PORTRAITS

If you would like to support us but are far away send me a picture of your teddy bear and I will paint an original 10cm x 10cm watercolour portrait of him when you make a donation via justgiving. You can email your photo to marjorysime (at) hotmail.com . (donations go straight to the charity via Justgiving)
