Now is an exciting time to be a part of Sevenoaks Hockey Club; the Men’s 1’s have just been promoted to the England Hockey National Premier League, for the first time in the club’s 105 year history. The Ladies 1's narrowly missed out on a similar promotion; finishing 2nd in the National Conference East. It is the aim of the club to join England Hockey's elite clubs by having both 1st XI's playing at the highest level of domestic hockey in England.    

Both of our current 1st team squads have an average age of just 25 and are filled with home-grown players, who have come through the junior section at Sevenoaks, with more to come in the future – many of whom currently assist the 1st XI’s at every home game in the form of the ball patrol!   

As an amateur family club we are currently almost entirely funded by player subscription fees, sponsorship and voluntary fundraising and we want to keep it that way. As such we are now looking to raise further money to help meet our goal of Premier League Hockey for both teams, and the associated additional costs that come with that, including greater travel & accommodation costs for away trips and increased spend on physiotherapy to prevent injuries & speed up rehab.

We greatly appreciate every penny which will help us to compete at the highest level, not just now but for many years to come.
