Story

Rosa is a PhD scholarship student at Sheffield Hallam University and we are raising funds to support her to run a clinical trial exploring new treatments for advaced prostate cancer.

Rosa survived childhood lymphoma and her experiences motivated her to pursue a career to help the fight against cancer. She is now working with Sheffield Hallam's Cancer Research Team on world-leading research that could transform patients' lives

Over the last eight years the Sheffield Hallam Cancer Research team have been exploring whether exercise could be used as a therapy for controlling cancer growth. Evidence suggests that men who are physically active after a prostate cancer diagnosis have better survival rates than men who aren’t.

Your donations will support Rosa to complete a new trial exploring this with men with advanced prostate cancer. Her work offers real hope to patients and could redefine best practice for cancer care.
