Students across Dublin are taking on the Dublin Simon Community Spin Challenge on April 21st. Six colleges will battle it out on the bikes while raising valuable funds for people experiencing homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath.

This fundraiser aims to raise €10,000 to fund our third level education grant for clients using our services who wish to pursue further education. The journey from experiencing homelessness to independent living is about more than putting a roof over somebody’s head. Dublin Simon’s Participation and Development service works with residents and others using our services to develop practical skills, promote healthy living, and increase confidence in themselves.  

The grant is available to people who are currently accessing our services or who have previously been a client of Dublin Simon Community. Depending on the level of support each student needs, this grant aims to help with the costs associated with pursuing third level education, be it fees, books or travel costs.
