- cheers of support from the St John Ambulance team at our dedicated cheering point – including our 1,400 volunteers who will be providing first aid on the day 

- a training day to prepare you for the race 

- a post-race reception on race day    

How your fundraising saves lives  

£100: can train a young person to teach other young people in essential first aid skills  

£120: could pay for a St John Ambulance trainer to teach first aid to a class of 32 children 

£150: could pay for a first aid training mannequin, used to teach volunteers resuscitation 

£240: could cover the operational costs of a first aid response unit for three hours 

£1,000: can provide life saving equipment for our volunteer first responders – from dressings all the way up to a defibrillator
