Story
From 5pm 30th Jan - 5pm 31st Jan, we will be linking up with our fellow St Mary's sports clubs to provide a range of fun, free sport sessions in aid of CLIC Sargent. From Gaelic football to ultimate frisbee via funky mud running, there's something for everyone! We'll also have special guests appearing throughout the day, which we're really excited to tell you more about.
Our motivations for fundraising for CLIC Sargent are very close to our hearts here at the Ladies’ GAA Club. In July 2016, one of our members developed acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and had to undergo the long, arduous process of treating it. During this time, he has shown great spirit and set out to and achieved to raise £10,000 for 2 chosen charities - one of these is CLIC Sargent. We continue to support this charity because we have seen first-hand the massive difference they make in helping those suffering with cancer. To find out more about the fantastic work they do, head to their website.
Our aim for this year is to exceed our previous fundraising total of £300, so we need your help. There will be plenty of opportunity to donate at the event, but if you can't make it along (or you're one of our lovely sponsors), don't worry - you can donate here! Please give what you can so that we can help CLIC Sargent to change the lives of those who need it most.
