Story
On 20th August we will take part in Tough Mudder south west in order to raise money for the SoA Youth Leadership charity.
SoA Youth Leadership has dedicated itself to the support and development of the next generation of African leadership, specifically in Sierra Leone. The leadership programmes run by the organisation include week-long residential programmes, school-based clubs that allow programme alumni to share their experiences and lessons with their fellow students, community service, environmental projects and more.
Participants are given the opportunity to look at issues affecting their economy, socio-political climate, education, environment and culture. The programmes that they engage in teach core concepts and allow the participants to apply them in a practical way, which in turn, has had a positive impact on their personal development, career trajectories and the communities in which they live.
SoA Youth Leadership has sustained these programmes since 2009, but requires financial and public support in order to continue to do so. As such a group of brave (crazy?) souls have pledged to tackle the hardcore military assault course and are looking for sponsorship for their efforts.
Any support that you show is always appreciated and so we ask you give anything that you can to help us to not just to take on this challenge but to continue to contribute to to aims and objectives of an organisation working to change the future of a nation.
Many thanks to you all!!
