The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileWith a choice of running a Half Marathon or a 10k, runners of all abilities and fitness levels can get involved and raise vital funds for St Peter's Hospice. The event starts on the Western (Chepstow) end of the Severn Bridge on the motorway itself and after crossing the bridge and back finishes in the event HQ below J2 of the M48, right next to the car park. The event HQ is on a pleasant grassy area overlooking the bridge with all the marquees needed for registration, changing, baggage etc. The route suits both first timers and experienced club runners - it provides something a bit different from your average 'run-of-the-mill' city half marathon: stunning views, sea air, scenic country lanes and villages and the opportunity to participate in a unique running event on a closed motorway and across the iconic Severn Bridge. St Peter's Hospice is asking Bristol runners to take on the Severn Bridge on 26 August to raise funds for their local Hospice.
