Story
We have done fantastically well with our fundraising efforts so far.
This means that we were able to go ahead and begin to have the MUGA installed – but only because we took the risk to draw down heavily on the main school budget.
We are splitting our continued efforts into 3 main streams:
1. Continue to seek support and sponsorship from outside bodies. We have recently received a £2,500 donation from the Titsey Rotary club, £161 from Waitrose, and will get £1,000 - £4,000 from Tesco Bags4Help (depending on how many people vote in store between now and January!)
2. PTA fundraising. The Friends of St Mary’s have agreed to give us 70% of funds raised this term and next term, and Downs Way PTA have pledged whatever money is raised via the silent auction at their Christmas Fair.
3. Individual efforts by children and families.
I know a lot of people have already given very generously and am very grateful for that – but for the good of the school we really do need to keep pushing on with fundraising for the remainder of this financial year.
