St Mary’s Whitchurch on Thames is on the Thames Path and sees many come inside for a quiet moment to be in a beautiful place where centuries of prayer and worship have taken place. You are more than welcome - the church is open in daylight hours. St John the Baptist Church in Whitchurch Hill was designed by Francis Bacon in 1883 and is a sister church to St Mary’s, Set in the Chilterns St John’s is a pretty, smaller church with an intimate feel; both churches are united in one parish, with one PCC. We have a separate meeting room which offers a range of activities to the local community supported by local fundraisers who would love you to be involved.
