Story

SoLO aims to add value to the lives of people with learning disabilities. We believe that people with learning disabilities often miss out on enjoying many opportunities, activities and experiences that others take for granted, and are working to change this. disabilities are very varied and each individual is unique. Having a learning disability may mean that a person might have difficulties understanding, learning and remembering new things, and applying any learning to new situations. Because of these difficulties with learning, they may also have difficulties with a number of social tasks such as communication, self-care, health and safety.   There are approximately 4000 individuals in Solihull with learning disabilities ranging from moderate to severe. Your support will help us to provide services for a proportion of those in need.
