We believe in a world where everyone with type 1 diabetes – no matter where they live – has everything they need to survive and achieve their dreams.

Our Mission

We support local communities by giving them the tools they need to stand up for their rights so that access to insulin and diabetes supplies becomes a reality for all.

Why support T1International? 

T1International works with whole communities and pushes for lasting change, rather than easy short-term fixes. We are a small but powerful organisation with big expertise and a wide reach. Along with advocates around the world, we fight for sustainable change so that no one has to worry or wonder where their next vial of insulin or pot of test strips will come from.

We say 'NO' to pharma funding

T1International does not accept money from pharmaceutical companies, which is rare in the health and diabetes sector. It is our priority to be able to speak out, so we will not accept money from any group that might influence our ability to do so. We will always be transparent about where our money comes from and what we spend it on. At present, we operate on a very lean budget which comes mainly from individual donations and grants. We want to be able to grow and impact more lives, and for this we need your support.

What is my donation going towards?

Your donation will go towards ALL aspects of our charity. That means your donation might pay for resources to be sent to advocates who want to push for local change. It might also pay for 1 month of running our website which raises essential awareness, or for an hour of online training for a Global Advocate, which will have a long-lasting impact. All of these things are supporting the cause, and it takes various types of work to make projects viable and sustainable. We are careful and measured with our minimal spending, and we will continue to be as we grow. But we need more funds to be able to make that growth happen.
