TECHO is ayouth-led non-profit organisation present in 19 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Through the joint work of families living in extreme poverty with youth volunteers, TECHO aims to overcome poverty in slums.

Story

Rescue crews are searching desperately through rubble for survivors of a magnitude-7.8 earthquake that struck coastal Ecuador last Saturday 17th. Death toll jumps to 525 with more than 4,000 injured, and the number is expected to rise as rescue teams dig through the rubble.

TECHO- Is working with Ecuadorian Authorities to mobilise volunteers in an effective and organised manner.

ALL funds raised will go to support ECUADOR! For what?

TECHO is mobilizing over 600 Volunteers: To assess the needs “Post Earthquake Ecuador” in the affected areas-
TECHO will Build- Transitional homes for families, victims of the earthquake with out shelter.

*** In addition we are working with the Armed Forces to ensure safety of our volunteers, Cover insurance, transportation and food.
