Story
Each week, 70 of Edinburgh’s most vulnerable pensioners use our dementia daycare service. They spend the day participating in stimulating activities, making friends and enjoying a wholesome meal. This vital service helps our clients retain quality of life and gives their carers some respite. Our befriending service supports unpaid carers by matching them with trained volunteers who offer them companionship and a break from their challenging role. We provide other carer support activities to help them manage their stress.
A gift from you can help us continue our role as a community resource and provider of support for people touched by a diagnosis of dementia.
