Story
The Ben McNicol Trust was established in January 2013 . This was in memory of Ben McNicol who died of a brain tumour in May 2012 . He was treated at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton near London. Children and their families often need to stay close to the hospital and because of this the idea was born to purchase a flat for use by families requiring hospital treatment.
Thanks to the tremendous generosity of so many people across the UK , Europe and Australasia we will acquire the flat in November 2016 . There will be ongoing running costs however the priority is to furnish the flat so that it is a comfortable place to live in.
Could you as an individual , class , school , business , family or other organisation help provide the funds to do this . From cutlery and crockery , to furniture , to electrical goods , we have a lot to get . Even a small donation will help purchase vital contents for the flat .
Please help if you can even a small donation will help greatly . Thank you .
