Story

As Christmas approaches – a time with strong associations of children and families – it’s worth remembering that some families experience financial hardship, emotional stress and, or domestic abuse so cannot enjoy the bright outlook of the year to come. This is why The Children’s Centre has launched an appeal to help raise funds for its Thriving Families programme.Thriving Families, launched 3 years ago, focusing on early intervention:  working with referred families who may be struggling and vulnerable. Providing specialist help, in order for the family to address and overcome their problems before they lead to more serious, long-term issues. This appeal has been launched to aid in the continued delivery and development of the vital work done by Thriving Families. This Christmas please consider families who are less fortunate and make a donation to this worthwhile programme via Just Giving. Every penny raised by the appeal will stay on the Island.

About the charity
