The vision of Kids Fund is to enhance the lives of children with special needs and significant disabilities in the Illawarra through the provision of aids and equipment.All items have been identified by a suitable qualified health professional, as appropriate to the child’s needs and are not available through any other source. The aids and equipment are deemed essential to the ongoing health and wellbeing or quality of life of a child with special needs and/or their family.For the child and family, the items can help achieve greater levels of inclusion and independence. By Kids Fund purchasing the aids and equipment for the child, a significant financial burden is removed from the family.The fund is generated entirely through community and corporate donations and is managed by The Disability Trust.
