The Porch is Oxford only homeless day centre. The charity helps in a totally non-discriminatory way, homeless or vulnerably housed people wanting to move forward in their lives, away from street life. 

Oxford has seen an increase of rough sleepers in the city. The latest city count estimates 50 people could be sleeping rough on any given night. We are also finding that our services are much more in demand and are outgrowing our current property. Significant repairs to the building are also needed. This combined with the growing lack of space has led us to the search for an alternative building.  

Your support will go directly towards providing a better services to the homeless community in Oxford. This is desperately needed as there has been an emerging crisis in the city as a result of council cuts, causing an increasing number of homeless people taking to the streets as a result of their circumstances.
