Story
UDOIT! Dance Foundation is a charity aiming to ensure that street dance is inclusive and accessible to ALL children and young people, and is used as a tool to provide a positive future. We work with partners such as Sport England, Sport Wales and Police and Crime Commissioners to achieve our objectives that allow us to provide reduced fee/free street dance classes to people in the UK, as well as various opportunities to these aspiring dancers.
Teenage Cancer Trust is an exceptional charity whose mission is to raise funds, educate, and support teenagers fighting cancer. They create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone. £20 - £100 means so much to Teenage Cancer Trust. This can buy a young person time with a Specialist Nurse, time with a Youth Support Worker, time with an expert, or even a support session for an entire family!
We launched the Road to Worlds at the UDO British Championships 2017 back in March, where UDO and UDOIT staff danced LIVE in front of 3000 attendees after getting secret dance lessons from members of Flawless Dance Group! Check it out at http://bit.ly/2pgDU0i
At each regional qualifying event until the UDO World Street Dance Championships in August 2017, we will have static bikes where we will be aiming to get 11,000 miles clocked up by the World Championships. This is the distance dancers from New Zealand will be travelling to compete!
Dancers, parents, judges, DJs, MCs, spectators and staff are all invited to join in clocking up the miles and donating some money to help us reach our overall target. You can also NOMINATE your friends/family to beat your personal best by getting on a bike or even an exercise bike at the gym!
Giving is easy – you can donate online or TEXT DANC17 plus an amount to 70070!
On behalf of UDOIT! Dance Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust, we thank you for your support!
