Ummah Welfare Trust was founded to challenge the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

The Syria crisis has left an estimated 600,000 children orphaned. Their fathers, and in many cases mothers, have been killed or abducted, leaving these precious children to grow up all alone.

The situation of Syria's orphans and widows continues to be Ummah Welfare Trust's foremost concern. The charity has increased its sponsorship programme across the country and needs generous donors to help support 50 newly-created orphans.

The never-ending bombings however are leaving more children daily without parents, and in need of desperate help. It's vital that we use our wealth to protect these newly-created orphans from poverty and degradation.

Sponsor an orphan in Syria with a monthly contribution of £34. Just over £1 a day can help Ummah Welfare Trust meet the basic needs of forlorn child.

Syria's children have faced a torment and violence that no child ever deserves. Show them that we care and sponsor an orphan today.
