52 runners so far! Family and friends of Henri running: we salute their spirit and the positive attitude!

at v4c we are proud to be chosen as the charity by Dani Sueke, in memory of her husband Dr Henri Sueke, to benefit from funds raised by running in the world famous city2surf race on Sunday 9th August in Sydney Australia with a dedicated group of supporters. 

Dr Henri Sueke, children’s eye doctor and an enthusastic fundraiser for v4c who trained with us at Liverpool died tragically in a road accident recently while cycling to his work at a children’s hospital in Sydney (read more). 

Dani, an inspirational person in her own right, said “I hope we can raise a lot for the v4c charity in Henri’s honour…it will allow him to continue to contribute to Paediatric Ophthalmology – and you know how much he would want to do that!” 

They have asked their supporters to donate funds towards the work of vision4children which is working tirelessly in tackling needless blindness in children.
