The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileV.I.B.E. receives no Government, Lottery or Sport England funding and relies entirely on what we ourselves can raise. Our players and their helpers (Directors) have to dig deep into their own resources to pay for their expenses to represent England at international level. In May next year (2016), a team will be travelling to Israel to compete in an international tournament. Each team member will need to find in excess of £800 to participate.
In 2017, we will be competing in the WORLD BLIND BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIPS in Cape Town, South Africa at a cost of around £2000 per person.
In addition, we want to encourage more visually impaired people into the sport ..... and all of this costs money, of course. SO ... OUR TARGET IS AMBITIOUS _ BUT, WITH YOUR HELP, I'M SURE WE CAN DO IT!
