Story

In 1917 the February revolution toppled the Russian monarchy & established a Provisional Government, the October revolution put the Bolsheviks in power, petrified Western elites & inspired millions. A hundred years on, a powerful historical amnesia has set in. It’s now discussed as leading inevitably to Stalin's gulags, ignoring the armies of intervention that screwed its potential. The film we’ve made challenges the myth that revolution leads to tyranny & the idea that citizens determining their own future is the road to hell. We know it's going against the grain in explaining the inspiration that October 1917 was, rather than the usual mob-hating horror story, but it’s worth it.  If you could help out, we can now get the film into colleges and everywhere possible. We’re not offering ‘rewards’ as crowdfunding sites do, as this precludes gift aid but rest assured, we’ll do the revolution proud.
