The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileFar away from Calais and the Mediterranean, refugees in East Africa are turning their lives around against the odds. In a world of walls and barbed wire fences, we are inspired by these individuals who are opening doors and showing that they can be assets to their new communities. They are showing that Congolese, Sudanese and Somalis can live side by side with Kenyans and Ugandans and that these communities are richer as a result. They are showing that being a refugee does not mean a life of despair, dependency and discrimination.
At Xavier Project we use education to help unlock this future and by supporting us you will make a tangible difference to the path we take to do this. Let us prove in East Africa that the world doesn’t need to take the path of division but that solidarity works best for us all.
Please support us this festive season so we can continue to #OpenDoors for refugees in Kenya and Uganda.
