Urgent! We need to raise £47,850 by 31st May in order to make our vision for a new Visitor Centre at Potteric Carr a reality.
With a 60% decline in British wildlife over the last 50 years, places like Potteric Carr Nature Reserve at Doncaster in South Yorkshire, have become vital for wildlife conservation.
With a new visitor centre, we can engage with more people and become more sustainable so we can continue working towards our vision of a Yorkshire rich in wildlife for everyone.
The new visitor centre and associated works will cost £675,000. We have already raised £482,150 and hope to secure £145,000 from a number of other sources. This leaves us with a shortfall of £47,850, which we hope you can help with.
We are keen to start work in this our 70th year; a new centre for one of our most important nature reserves will be a fitting way to mark our anniversary. We hope you will help us make this vision a reality.
