In September 2020, during a global pandemic, my Dad, Rod Hernandez, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The progression of his disease is why I'm raising funds and awareness while I challenge myself to honor my Dad's struggle by running 26.2 miles in the Charlotte Marathon. Every dollar I raise will help beat Parkinson's.
