British 10K London Run 2013 · 14 July 2013 ·
This run is opening up a new chapter for all of us. It is probably the best and by far the most competitive way to lose our bum fat – yep you read that quite correctly! All of us have bums that don’t lie and its something we absolutely cannot deny!
With all jokes aside – this is our first major charity based run in hope to raise money for One Cause charity (non-profit organisation), who are dedicated in improving the lives of less fortunate children through education around the world. They aim to open schools for children in the developing countries around the world and have to-date opened and continue to assist 2 schools:
I) Nirvana school (Opened in Dec 1995) in Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, India. With the support of people all over the world, the school has expanded tremendously, and currently holds over 430 children, aged between 3 and 14 in Nursery, Primary and a High school.
2) Auro Technical School (Opened in 2010) in Tororo, Uganda. In 2011/2012, One Cause have managed to get 47 students sponsored for their education at the school. At just £70 a year, this will pay for the uniforms for all students, medical check-ups, student stationery and basic consumables pay for their fees that go towards paying the teachers’ salaries.

We sincerely hope you are able to help raise money to meet our target (and possibly go beyond), in order to help people less fortunate than ourselves and to give them a brighter future. No amount is too small or too big so please dig deep into your pockets and make a donation. There is no exercise better for the heart and soul than reaching down and lifting people up.
And now back to the fun bit – we’re aiming to run with a few props. We've had a few ideas but anymore ideas are more than welcome! Let us know what you think we should dress up as – the more we make the crowd laugh, the easier the run will be for us! Thank you for all your support.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
