I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year for my Grandad Fred Clifford who was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in April 2016. Unlike Fred who fancies himself as a bit of a sportsman back in his early days, I consider myself more of a 'Netflix and chill' kind of person. We don't normally do pink unless it is in the form of Rosé and the closest we come to mud is with face masks. So I will be hanging up my heels to take part in this event. I will be getting 'Pretty Muddy' on a 5k obstacle course. I am also running in memory of my boyfriend Ben Belfrage's father, Patrick Burrows who sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer on 26th April 2013. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Patrick but his memory lives on in the stories we share with his family and friends.
