On 8th June we will be taking part in Tough Mudder and we have chosen to raise money for a children's charitable fund set-up by Duncan's Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law and good friends of mine, Dan and Lucy Walker, in memory of their son, Theo.

 

Since Theo passed away in December 2009 the fund established in his name has raised just over £100,000 which has gone to help charities supporting children with life threatening and terminal illnesses.

 

All money raised for our event, in the name of the Theo Walker Fund, will be donated directly to Heartline.

 

Heartline is a small UK-based charity that provides support, information and simply an online place to meet for families facing up to life with kids with heart complications.

 

Dan and Lucy have told me how much Heartline helped them keep going before Theo’s birth, during his short life and the aftermath of this death,

Anything you are able to give to the Theo Walker Fund will help to make a difference to children and their families facing tremendously challenging circumstances.
