so the ride was yestarday (21st aug 2011) i personally managed 70 miles (technically 69.2), and it was a great acheivement by all who completed their sections.

our 99 mile route took us from the st john headquaters in birmingham's lionel street to west bromwich's roebuck lane division, however we visiting the divisions in coventry, solihull, bromsgrove, worcester, kidderminster and wolverhampton on the way.

we're raising funds for the purchase of several new bikes so we can cover more public events and get to those who are ill and injured quickly and effectively.

tha bikes are equipped with many pieces of kit that can be used for anything from cuts and sprains to a cardiac arrest .
