Leeds Half Marathon 2007 · 13 May 2007 ·

Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust funds scientific and clinical research into childhood and adult brain tumours, and offers support and information to patients and their carers. We have been working to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours since the charity was set up in 1996 by Samantha's parents, Neil and Angela Dickson. We now spend around £1.3 million per year on brain tumour research and support, making us the largest brain tumour charity in the UK.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

UPDATE *** Ian managed the 13 miles in 2 hours and ... sixteen seconds! All 5 children under 5 and 4 accompanying adults managed to complete the Family Fun Run and a good time was had by all! Even the rain held off until after we had all finished and were indoors again!***

Most of you know Cathi has survived brain surgery twice and now we would like to help get involved in raising money for research into brain tumours.  Ian is going to run the Leeds Half Marathon, while Cathi and Tom run/jog/walk the Leeds Family Fun Run.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (Astro Fund) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
