P fought her cancer for over 5 years, in typically stalwart fashion...she faced the the rounds of debilitating treatments with humour and a stiff upper lip.
We hope that by contributing to Southampton's new cancer immunotherapy research unit, we will be helping to bring about the next generation of anti-cancer drugs.
P left us far too soon, but we hope that in the future, those suffering from cancer will have more options to new treatments that will enable them to live longer and better lives.
Nothing brought P more pleasure than giving to others, and throughout her life she was always a generous yet pragmatic person, whether with family, friends or her colleagues and patients at work.
