Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride · 14 July 2013 ·

Wood Street Mission is a Manchester children's charity which helps children and families living in poverty in Manchester & Salford. We provide practical help to help meet children’s day-to-day needs and improve their life chances. More than 1 in 3 children in Manchester is living in poverty.

Story

Right so here goes, some brave chosen few: Paul Smith, James Booth, Mat Hirst, Jim Walker, Matt Bateman, Joe Hanlon, Sean Roe & Laura Betts have took the step (ok maybe I pushed them !) to enter a team into this year's Manchester to Blackpool 60 mile bike ride, some cannot ride past 10 miles and some are quiet experts - no disclosing who is who ..... and to top it all James mum who is '70' this year is team captain .

We have decided to support a fantastic cause Wood Street Mission based in Manchester.  We have got to know them well over the last 6 months and WOW what a cause it is, this is a great chance to show them how much we appreciate what they do for under priviledged local families.

Please could you take the time to help us reach our target.

THANK YOU
